I have been thinking long and hard about this. How come some people can quit weed easier than others?
I recall, riding my motorcycle with an ex marine one time and he told me he would cold turkey cigarettes on his next birthday. We used to ride up and down the highways of LA and do the stupidest things on our little motorcycles.
And then, I realized, for some people it is easier to cold turkey, but when your hooked on the stuff and its a natural thing you do everyday, that makes it harder.
So, bottom line is, If you have tried to cold turkey it and keep going into relapse, think about why your are going into relapse. Think about that point in time when you have your blunt in front of you and your thinking, just one more time. Those are the flash points you need to consider.
As I said before, there is merit to keeping yourself busy on other hobbies, finding new and interesting things, and separating your self from the negative points that can lead to more exposure and scenarios to smoking weed.
For me, I find it a challenge when I encounter weed. I think of it as a challenge to not smoke it. I love the challenge. Of course, the quite weed guide really helped me to and continues to provide support.
Good luck my friends!
